First Fridy Club announces CEO of IOM3 as keynote for upcoming September briefing

First Friday Club Editors’ Briefings announced Dr Colin Church, CEO of IOM3, amongst other guest speakers, to join trade media editors in London.

First Friday Club is bringing together senior leaders, innovators, and policymakers from across the materials, robotics, AI and research sectors to explore the challenges and opportunities shaping the future of industry. Our guest speaker is arguably one of the most influential figures from the sector – Dr Colin Church, CEO of IOM3.

Hosted at The Institute of Materials, Minerals & Mining in London, Dr. Church will be joined by senior leaders Dr. Seamus Nevin from MAKE UK, Prof. Marco Imperadori from Rockwool Core Solutions and Elaine Cobb, BEng from Cadence Industrial and Technically Communications (ATUKI). The briefing takes place on September 5^th 2025, and will examine critical themes such as sustainable resource management, the role of advanced materials in the energy transition, digital transformation, robotics and AI.
