First Friday Club and Cadence were proud to manage the press office at the MTC in Coventry for the fourth annual Robotics & Automation Conference on the 17th and 18th of June.

Hundreds of manufacturing and technology professionals attended the event at The MTC’s state-of-the-art facility in Coventry. The event attracted over 35 exhibitors, and circa 400 attendees sharing knowledge, exchanging expertise, and building valuable connections.

The First Friday Club brought Trade media editors to Coventry, to hear from more than 30 expert speakers and panelists who addressed the importance of robotics and automation for the productivity and growth of UK manufacturing. Attending editors also had access to an exclusive panel session with representatives from Airbus, Walsall Wheelbarrows, The West Midlands RAS Cluster and a former Unite the Union Official.

Day one of the conference focused on robot adoption and day two shifted toward the adjacent technologies that are shaping the future.

The event resulted in a united call for recognition of the importance of robotics and automation prior to the Industrial Strategy release.
