July’s First Friday Club saw 14 editors eager to hear presentations from Beckhoff Automation, Schneider Electric, and the MTC.
Beckhoff’s Business Development Manager, Bradley McEwan, introduced how TcRobot simplifies integration of any robot into the Beckhoff control system by providing a common interface. Schneider Electric looked back over 100-years of innovation of the TeSys range from its humble beginnings as the world’s first BAR Contactor in 1924. Finally The MTC launched the Robotics and Autonomous Systems (RAS) cluster which is driving robotic deployment and realising the full potential of the technology.
