Can industry decarbonise and stay productive at the same time? ABB demonstrated it’s commitment to innovate and support decarbonisation, spanning key enablers such as: renewable energy sources, grid stability, emerging applications and electrification of industries and transportation. The event was hosted by Chris Poynter, President of ABB’s System Drives division and saw presentations held by Ata Douzdouzani, Head of Sales for System Drives, and Joerg Stutz, Head of Product Group, Packaging. The event focused on three key areas: the opportunities currently offered for the electrification of heavy industries, case studies from various industry segments that illustrate how ABB supports customers in achieving their sustainability goals and outlining the new applications that will accelerate the reduction of emissions.
