Robotics – Full STEAM Ahead
London – April 17, 2026 – Our latest briefing welcomed 21 members of the industrial and technology press to the London College of Contemporary Arts to hear from leading voices in robotics, gaming, STEM education, finance, and AI. Exploring the “Blueprint for a Robotic Workforce”, this panel session looked at shifting the needle on understanding what the future workforce looks like, and how industry can support the next generation of STEM employees from safety to career guidance. With unique insights demonstrating how STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Maths) are inextricably linked to uncover a future workforce.
The panel was curated by Cadence Industrial & Technical Communications and featured: Chair, Mike Wilson, CAO at Manufacturing Technology Centre, the panel was formed of Anthony Hills from NVIDIA, David McGreene from LCCA, Neil Bellamy from NatWest Group, Paul McKnight from VEX Robotics, Aditya Yagnik from STEM for Kids and Rory Daniels from techUK.
Attending editors and journalists also viewed an exclusive live robotics demonstration from the STEM for Kids elementary school team, who showcased their award-winning robots onsite ahead of the VEX IQ World Championships in America later in April.
