Coming close to the end of the year, 13 leading technical and trade editors gathered for a packed event featuring Schneider Electric, Igus, Outokumpu, The University of Manchester, and MAKE UK.
MAKE UK set the scene with a programme for growth for UK manufacturing while navigating the route to decarbonisation through electrification. Outokumpu showed the detail surrounding the steel industry and the important role that it plays in the global green transition. (NEEDS UoM info) Schneider Electric explored the long journey of hydrogen, combining the lessons of the past with future considerations to ensure the safe production, storage, and distribution, as the energy source contributes to the energy transition. Finally, the editors were introduced to the igus:bike, setting out on a 6,000km journey representing 60 years of Igus serving the industry.
